When the Spine's Away

If you have little kids, you know if you leave them alone for too long, something bad is bound to happen.  Worse yet, if they haven't made it peep for some time - that's when the most destruction is going down!  You have to peek in on them every now and then to make sure they're not getting into trouble.

If you leave your spine neglected for too long, inevitably it will get in trouble too.  Vertebrae get out of line, nerves become irritable and before you know it your health is a total mess.  When you spine's away from Chiropractic supervision - Subluxations will play...

Kids can get into messy trouble if you don't check in on them often.  Funny how spines do the same thing too.  It's probably a good thing to keep a close eye on yours with regular check ups.

Since Mother's Day is just around the corner...

What “Mother” Means

“Mother” is such a simple word,
But to me there’s meaning seldom heard.
For everything I am today,
My mother’s love showed me the way.

I’ll love my mother all my days,
For enriching my life in so many ways.
She set me straight and then set me free,
And that’s what the word “mother” means to me.

Thanks for being a wonderful mother, Mom!

SPRING BREAK @ THE CABIN

The girls and I have been busy at the beach the past few days.  We've been investigating all the little creatures that make their home near our cabin. We've been fortunate
to have little spurts of sunshine here and there to get our outside adventures in.

It's been a GREAT little getaway!  We hope you've had time to spend with family over the "Spring Break" too! :)

Quantity Counts…

A glass of water can put out a flame, but it won’t put out a raging forest fire – right idea, but it’s lacking in appropriate quantity.  The same can be said for results and Chiropractic care.

The purpose of multiple adjustments is to keep your nervous system “clear” long enough for your body to grow into a new healthier state.  For many (especially if you suffer long standing, chronic health issues) that means frequent sessions to assure your innate intelligence has unrestricted nerve pathways and the proper TIME required to accomplish the healing.  Note, adjustments don’t get you well…it’s the time you remain subluxation free that does.

One day at the gym won’t turn you into Arnold Schwarzenegger and a single Paleo meal won’t make you skinny.  Exercise and proper nutrition can get you healthy, but they need to be repeated regularly to see real change.  Likewise, desired Chiropractic results come from time, repetition and a sustained CLEAR nervous system.  This is why it is so important to follow your care plan and keep your appointments, so you can be a BETTER HEALTHIER YOU!

Helpful hints regarding your posture while your at work...

All of these tips are extremely helpful...remember to keep in mind that too much of anything is not necessarily a good thing.  Whether it's sitting for too long throughout your day or eating the wrong foods over and over.  Our bodies are designed to move and to have balance.  It's important to manage your stress and take care of yourself.    This should always include regular chiropractic adjustments to keep your joints happy and your nervous system (which controls everything)
even happier!!!

Shall we compare our hearts to a garden -
with beautiful blooms, straggling weeds,
swooping birds and sunshine, rain -
and most importantly, seeds.

A Clear Valentine's

There's much to love about Chiropractic - the science of the nervous system function, the art of adjusting spines back into alignment.  But the best part is the principle behind it all.

Physicians address body parts, physiologists analyze thoughts and clergy tend to the matters of spirit.  But no one profession addresses all three - your physical health, mental health, and spiritual health like chiropractic.  When Chiropractors clear your nervous system with an adjustment, not only does your physical body improve, but so does your mental focus and your ability to express your true self.

Love is the right adjustment at the right time.  While the resolution of pain and restoration of physiologic function are nice side effects of chiropractic. The thing we love most is when you become whole again!

Have a happy and healthy Valentine's Day!
